Apprentice General Maintenance & Grounds

37 Hours per week

2 Year Apprenticeship

Salary – £24,242 per annum

About the role

Step into a role where no two days are the same!

As our Apprentice in General Maintenance and Grounds, you’ll help keep Kielder Waterside looking its best – from maintaining lodges and facilities to caring for our stunning outdoor spaces.

You’ll learn everything from basic repairs to landscaping, all while working alongside a supportive, experienced team.

This is your chance to gain real-world skills, earn while you learn, and be part of something special in one of the UK’s most beautiful locations.

As well as valuable work experience, you will also be working towards a Level 2 qualification in Horticulture/Landscape Construction operative.

 

About you

You’re someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and getting stuck into practical tasks.

 

You’re curious, eager to learn, and ready to take on a variety of challenges.

 

Whether you’ve done a bit of gardening, DIY, or just love the idea of working with your hands, we’re looking for someone with a great attitude and a willingness to grow.

 

We are looking for you to have a grade 4 or above in Maths & English GCSE.

 

Please note you will be employed by our Training provider ATA.
